Before you get excited, how about this for a thought: could people we love and think we know look like demons on the inside? It’s okay, calm down! You’ve had a Gothic moment! Feel better? Okay, good because here I go with another Gothic fiction post and this one is about my own fiction. The themes of which are: madness, obsession, devil worship, vampirism, voyeurism, incest and sadism.

Hmm, did I leave out anything? Not too sure! These choice tidbits all comprise the themes of The House on Blackstone Moor. Is it too much? I don’t think so. And do you know why I don’t think so?

ANSWER: BECAUSE IT’S GOTHIC HORROR! Actually, it’s Gothic horror with some romance in it, and most importantly it’s absolutely NOT Young Adult fiction.
